I cannot find help anywhere.
I created a presentation and had to change over to PPViewer2003. I would
like to keep the \"gamezone\" but it is not possible to run a program in
PPViewer2003 as you know.
Can I overcome that problem?
kind regards
Kacy

You can certainly LINK to another type of file
in PPTViewer 2003, e.g. to an excel spreadsheet, a Word file, or to a website.
The only "problem" here is that you get the ugly message about some files
having viruses (and there ain't a thing you can do about it!).

But, I don't know whether other type of files that are linked to actually
execute or not.

Yes, that "ugly message about some files having viruses"; totally destroys a
professional looking presentation.

You are correct. The PowerPoint 2003 Viewer does not support links to "Run
Program". However, if you create a bat file to run the program, you can link to
the bat file in Slide Show > Action Settings > Hyperlink to > Other file.''

The Bat file is a text file created in NotePad and contains two lines:

@ECHO OFF
launch.exe open (put the command string needed to open the program)

Save the file in your presentation folder as e.g., test.bat. Then link to
test.bat.
You can find launch.exe at
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/autorun_launch.htm
You need to put all of the files in the same folder as your presentation and
burn everything to a CD.

If you don't want to do this manually or you have problems, see
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/acdpc_pro.htm

sh..... sugar!
thanks Sonia.
But problem not solved.
First I get this f.......fine message about viruses.
Then a window appears and it has the size of my game.
I cannot tell you more about it because it is gone as soon as it came up.
