Running a slideshow on a website

I am trying to organise a website that is a series of animated slideshows.
Whenever i publish to a web page I lose all the animation. I'm probably doing
something fundamentally wrong so an idiot's guide would be useful.

The first thing I would do is use some other program to design your web
site. PowerPoint is not set up for this type of funcionality.

You could use a program like Microsofts FrontPage, or Dreamweaver. Don't get
me wrong. Use PowerPoint to produce your web presentations, then use the
other programs to design pages to link them together.
