I read an earlier post and online paper about running multiple versions of MS
Office. One part of the instructions said to install older versions first. I
already have XP installed. If i want to add an install of JUST Excel 2000, do
I have to deinstall the ENTIRE XP suite, add the Excel 2K version, then
reinstall XP again? or can I just deinstall Excel XP, install Excel 2K and
reinstall Excel XP?
I was also unclear from the documentation...will the VB environments of both
versions remain separate and retain their versional identities/command sets?
That is the whole point behind this endeavor, i need to code for both
versions.
I also had this thought (probably unwise)...Might it work to replace
(temporarily) the command libraries in XP with those from 2K?
Thanks for any help.
