Running Word 97 on a PC with office 2003

I have windows XP pro and office 2003 on my PC. I need to be able to use text
converters in Word. Office 2003 won't allow this. I still have office 97, can
I install word 97 onto the same PC as this version of Word will allow me to
use the text converters. I do have a separate hard drive if that would be
beneficial.

Thanks for your help.

There may well be a better solution but, when I bought my
machine 2+ years ago, I partitioned the hard disk so that I had
Windows 97 on one partition as well as XP on another. I was not
very familiar then with XP and I wanted to be sure I could work
the way I was accustomed to if necessary. I find it less and
less useful but I still boot the earlier version when needed. I
have Office 97 on the Windows 97 partition of course.
