Runnung macro has 2 results

I set up a macro to output to a .snp file. I named it AutoExec and also
assigned it to a switchboard button. When it runs on opening the database I
get prompted to replace existing file. When I select the switchboard button
to run the macro, I do not get the prompt. It automatically replaces the
existing file.

How can I stop the prompt on opening?

Matt,

I don't know why this is happening, and in fact find it a bit surprising.
But here's an idea to try... instead of using an AutoExec macro, put it on
the Open event of a form that you set as the Startup form. See if that
makes any difference.
