Runtime error when printing

I have a client running Office 2003. When he prints (NOT all the time) he
sometimes gets an error window labeled "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"
the message reads " Runtime Error! Program: C:\program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office11\WinWord.exe Abnormal program termination".

When i click OK it closes the window and also Word. The computer it is
running on is a Win XP Pro patched.
