I am running OL 2002. I want to export my contacts to a comma
delim-whatever file but the Import/Export is grayed out. Any suggestion?

Have you tried running Detect and Repair?
You may need to install the translators expressly from the Office XP CD if
they were not installed initially.

Where are you trying to access the Import and Export Wizard? The one located
under File in the main Outlook window?

Thanks, but just before the email came in I fixed it!!!

Went to Tools/Customize/Categories/File/Commands/Click and drag the
Import/Export to Standard Bar.

It STILL is grayed out but at least I can now get the thing to at least
work.

I will try your suggestion to get the gray to black
