Save 1/2 page word document to jpg and pdf

I have a 1/2 page word document. I've used page setup to change the size of
the document to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 instead of 8 1/2 x 11. I'm using the print
option and I'm using PDF Creator as the printer. When it saves the document
as a pdf or jpg file it's saving it as a full page and not 1/2 a page
document or picture. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem either
using PDF Creater or another solution all together? Thank you for your help
and time.

I know nothing of the abilities of PDF Creator (presumably freeware), but
you could certainly do this with Acrobat (at least to PDF). One solution
would be to download the working demo of SnagIt, which will easily create
jpg formats (and PDF for that matter) and has the additional ability to crop
to whatever size you require.
