Save a project with a specific view

I have a master plan for over 6 months now. Everything has been working fine
- but management want a different view.
Individual project managers want to keep all the data.
Management are only interested in the future and the previous months activity.

I can get the required view by using Filtered For - "Date range"
I was hoping to Save it with this view (as management won't want to apply
this filter every time they look at it) but it reverts to All tasks.

Is there a way of keeping the filtered view on?

Thanks Andy

Create a specific view with this filter applied. You can also make the
filter have a variable date so that when the view is applied MS Proejct
requests the status date. If you need help in creating views or new filters,
please post back and someone can help you.

Basicall, you need to create a table with the columns you need
(View/tables/more tables/new...). Save the table with a unique name. Create
the filter (Project/Filter for.../more filters/mnew...), save it with a
unique name. Then create a new view (View/More Views/New...). In teh view
creation, specify your new table, new filter, and give the view a name. You
can specifiy the view is available on the menu. Now have the leadership team
select the new view.

For each item in a new view, you can specify the table, filter, and grouping
to be appliecd. HTH

Thanks Jim,
Set up view, tables and filters as suggested But
The date range way - prompts the person for a date range - I was trying to
automatically set the date range so that "management" dont have to do
anything. Any suggestions.

Also when you apply "Date Range" manually it only shows tasks within that
date range - when I apply it using your method it displays all tasks and
highlights the range selected in a different colour!
Again any suggestions.
Thanks Andy
