If it is new file then this is the expected behavior. If the file has
been previously saved then it could be there is a macro intercepting
the built-in command.
If you think that may be the case then what application are you using?
Does the issue occur if you open the application in Safe mode? To
start in Safe mode, exit the application and hold the Ctrl key down
while starting the application.
