save as web changes layout and font

i have a pretty simple presentation with one font (arial)
and some jpegs that I annotate with drawing objects. Two
issues:

1. when i save as web, the font looks really blocky and
unreadable

2. when i save as web, my pictures get moved around.

i've published from two computers with the exact same
result. any thoughts?
