save as

Sometimes, when I use "save as", the computer gets very
very slow and the word document name in the lower
toolbar starts flashing orange.

After awhile, I will get the "end task" option with the
note that Word is not responding.

Anybody have some ideas--thank you very much, I couldn't
find an answere anywhere else
