Save Baseline Greyed Out

My menu option to Save Baseline is greyed out. This is an application problem
not an .mpp issue. I also noticed in the Organizer that I do not have a
Tracking Gantt in my global.mpt.
Any ideas??? This is a puzzler.

Hi

what version are you running (inc service pack numbers) - to find (tools /
about project) ?

personally i've not seen the first problem in any install of Project, but
with questions like these it is always a good idea to metion version /
service pack info, operating system and any other info that you might think
relevant (ie i installed in on the machine 6mths ago and have never had the
save baseline option - or i'm sure i had the save baseline option up to a
couple of weeks back, can't think what changed and now i don't have it etc).

Also it is a good idea to let us know if you've run Detect & Repair from the
Help menu (depending on version), or have re-installed it to see if it has
fixed the problems and whether your latest virus scan turned up anything
..... as these are the first things i would recommend in your situation.

This is version 2002. Actually, I have seen the problem before and the fix is
so bizarre that I don't remember it. I have since replaced my global.mpt. But
I know there is another solution out there. I cannot always replace the
global. Thanks for you help anyway.
