Thank You. I tried to convert to convert it as a PDF file but was unable to
convert from there to image like .bmp or jpeg.

With a more current version of Office, Microsoft Document Image writer
is available. It can create .TIF files which can be converted to BMP or
JPG. perhaps you know someone with office 2003 or later?

By the way maybe you know a solution to another post:
Maybe somebody can help. I am trying to paste a picture in of the boxes in a
table in Word XP. All the pictures that I paste in other boxes the picture
starts from the top of the box but in this cell or box the picture start a
little lower. How do I correct this?

Have you considered copying the Word document and then pasteing to an image
editor? Paint will work.

No because I think it will capture more then needed and also I think it is
not clear.

Paint will not open a Word dcocument.
What I was suggesting is to open Word, select the whole Word document {or
the part you want} and copy the selection to the clipboard.
I would leave Word open and open Paint. Then paste the contents of the
clipboard into Paint.
I have done it before. Just did it again from Word 2007 to Paint.
From Paint, use Save As to select the type of image format you want.
