Does make it more complicated since I am using Word 2007 and you are using
Word 2002.
I created a simple Word 2007 documenet with some text and one image. At the
right of the Home ribbon in Word 2007 there is an editing option to Select
and then Select All. Using Select All, both the text and image were selected
and I could copy both to the clipboard and paste both into Paint.
If my recall is working today, in Word 2002 in the Edit menu you have a
Select All option. There should also be a copy option in the Edit menu.
Suggest you try opening the document in Word 2002. Then Edit, Select All and
Edit, Copy {or use one on the other copy methods to copy the selection to
the clipboard}. With both text and picture in the clipboard, open Paint and
use Edit, Paste to paste both to Paint.
Hope this helps. Sorry, I cannot give you more specific steps for Word 2002.
