"Saving As"options

T

Todd

I use both Project 2003 and Suretrak 3.0.
Suretrak claims it can import a file from Project (does not specify which
version) if the option under Project's File-Save As-file extension ".MPX" is
utilized.
I cannot find this option in Project 2003.
Am I missing something, or is this option available in project 2003
somewhere i am not looking?

This appears to be Microsoft Project 4.1. At any rate, it is older than
Microsoft Project 98.
Check to see if SureTrak may have an add-in that allows you to open a more
current file of MS Project. SureTrak is a Primavera product, I believe. As
such, they should be able to exchange data with MS Project with no problem.

Hi Todd,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

MPX format is only available in Project 98. You can probably buy it on
eBay.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
