Saving comments

Version: 2008 Operating System: Older version Processor: Intel Someone sent me a 100-page manuscript in .doc form. I reviewed the ms with comments, and when I saved it, the comments disappeared. Where are they?

Where you saved them!

Sorry: You haven't given us enough detail to go on here :)

We need to know how you received the document, where you put it, how you
opened it, where you saved it, and how you re-opened it.

I "suspect" you edited the one on your hard disk, and have now opened the
one in your email, which is the unchanged copy without your edits.
