Saving my Custom Template

Bill

I've got a PPT2000 presentation, which is based on a template that I've
heavily modified.

How do I save it as DESIGN TEMPLATE (a .POT file?) that I can recall for
other, new presentations?

Also, how, and where, do I save it as a PRESENTATION TEMPLATE (like when you
click "New Office Documents" and select "Presentations")

Thanks!

All you should need to do is to get rid of all "extra stuff", click "File",
"Save as", click the "save as type" dropdown and select "Presentation
template (*.pot). It will automatically switch you to the desired folder
where you give it a name. Next time you are ready to use it, it should be
under the "General" TAB of your templates (or listed in the Taskpane).
