Saving picture in PP as a separate file

In PowerPoint 2000, how can I save a photo that has been
inserted in a presenation as a separate file? I would
like to save it as a JPEG.

Thanks!!

Right click on the image, select SAVE PICTURE AS. I recommend saving images
as .png files as a .jpg can be less than 24 bit color, and a .png is
automatically 24 bit color which guarantees the highest quality image.

Troy's suggestion is a good one. Or would be if you had PPT 2002 or higher.
ZING! Hi Troy! <g>

In 2000, select the picture, press Ctrl+C to copy it, then start MS
PhotoEditor and Paste as New Image. Save in the format you need.
