SAVING POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

I want to save a presentation as read-only. It's a huge
file and very, very delicate. I've noticed when I open it
sometimes, there are mysterious changes which I didn't
implement. I want to save it so that it's secure.

You might get part of what you want by doing the following: Select Save As,
and select JPG as the format. Powerpoint will save each slide as a separate
..jpg image. Then open a new presentation and past each slide back into a
blank slide.

Hi Marshall,

If you are using PowerPoint 2002 or PowerPoint 2003 you can use the
password feature to allow people to open the presentation but not make
changes to it (unless they have the password).

Additionally, in PowerPoint 2003, you can use the new Permissions feature
to provide some additional level of control over who can do what with the
presentation (without having to use password). For more information on the
