Saving Settings in Microsoft Office 2003

Hello,

Every time I shut down and restart Microsoft Office, I must
tell it how often to check for mail. Also, I must select
"remove messages from server". If I don't do this,
Microsoft Outlook 2003 defaults to leaving how my messages
on the server.

Is there a way to get it to always use my selections?
