Saving slides without PowerPoint

M

I just switched from MS Office 2000 Pro to MS Office Basic 2003. I
really don't want or need the full version of PowerPoint. I have the
Viewer, and for most purposes that's enough for me.

Occasionally, though, I do want to break out and save an individual
slide. I don't see buying the whole program just for that, but the
Viewer can't do it either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Sorry but if you want to edit a PPT you have to have the right tools to do
it, in this case the full application. Sort of like if you need to cut a
board you need a saw and the True Value guy doens't care if it's one board
or a thousand. <g>

Hi,

You cant save individual slides in the viewer as that is really editing the
slide deck. If you don't want the full version, maybe send it to a friend to
do for you? Or you could use PowerPoint 2000 if you don't mind loosing some
alter features such as newer animations. Was PowerPoint 2000 installed under
Office 2000 Pro?
