saving slideshows

How do I save a slide show in power point so it opens up
as an active slide show, without clicking on run as a
slide show?

Go to File > Save as and select PowerPoint Show (*.PPS) as the type of file that
you want. Or you can just rename any .PPT file, giving it a file extension of
..PPS. You can still open PowerPoint and then open the file if you want/need to
edit it.
