Saving Toolbar settings

I am running OL2003. When I open my Inbox and arrange my toolbars the way
that I like them, I'd like them to stay that way the next time that I open
OL.

Instead the defaults load and I'm back to the orginal configuration. Any
ideas how to "save" the Toolbar settings?

Randy,

I'm not sure whether this will make a difference or not. But are you doing
this with Administrator privialages? Like I said, not sure whether it will
make any difference at all but it's something to try.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I am logged on with Administrator
priveledges, but good thought.

After making the toolbar changes, try doing a FILE > EXIT to close
Outlook. (Do not use the X in the corner). This will usually 'lock' in
changes.

Thanks, I'll give that a try too?? This is a strange problem that is
difficult to obtain MS documentation on?

Was this ever resolved? I don't see the difference between File | Exit and
the Close button. I understant they execute the same shut down code. This
was not a problem in earlier versions of Outlook.
