Saving Word document using Save button

When attempting to save a document using the Save button I
receive a message that the 'macro cannot be found or has
been disabled'. Has anyone else see this and know why this
is happening?

It is probable that the button has been assigned to a macro that is no
longer available.
Run tools > customize and drag the save command to the toolbar and drag the
old button from it.

Thanks Graham - that works. Any idea of how or why this

If you mean do I know who has been messing with your files, then no. Buttons
don't re-assign themselves.
