Scanning a written signature into a letter in Word

You need a scanner, a writing implement, and a piece of paper. Write your signature on a piece of paper, scan the signature into a .tif or .jpg file, and insert the .tif or .jpg file into your Word document by clicking on Insert | Picture | From File.
