I would like an opinion on Schedule Message. In a Master Project with
inserted subproject I have encountered the following schedule message, eg.
"Task X and No 123 . in subproject ABC “ cannot be completed in the time
allocated.
This message has come up randomly in a view when I and the users open the
Master Project File and View. Sometimes it appears and sometimes it doesn't.
I know these are warnings, but my concern is that it may appear users to be
a problem with project schedule. Users may see this message and think there
is an error/bug with the MS Project.
Should this message come up randomly rather all the time?
Should these type of messags be turned offin MS Project for the users not to
see them? what are the pros and cons?
Is there a standard listing of scheduling messages that may arise or does MS
Project customize the message to the nature of the scheduling problem?
