Script Editor does NOT stop break at breakpoints.

I am an experienced programmer but not in the Script
Editor environment. I have used the SE successfully
before in FP2000. Now I have FP2003 on XPPro.

I set a breakpoint in a function that must execute but
when I press F5 to run it does not break there.
If I press F11 to 'Step Into' it also does not stop at
any executable code.

The web page is just displayed in IE quite correctly, and
containing the results of executed Javascript.

What am I doing wrong?
