Script Wizard

I must be missing something. I simply cannot find
the "Script Wizard" in FP98. Can anyone help?

Sure there is! Niles, usually this means that an upgrade to IE has removed
it. The Script Wizard relies on IE components from IE 3. First thing to
try is reinstalling FP98. There is also an issue with an .ocx that is
removed by later IE versions. You can get the .ocx you need from here:

Niles,

That .ocx file provides some of the functionality of the Script Wizard. To
be honest with you, I have even messed with FrontPage 98 in about 5 or 6
years.

Hmm, I haven't worked with FP 98 in some time but I don't recall any Script
Wizard. You're saying that there was a command to start a "Script Wizard"?

Thanks Kathleen. Like said it has been a long time since FP 98.

Thanks Kathleen:

I had already read that knowledge base article. The
problem I am having is getting the Script Wizard to show
up! I downloaded the .ocx file. When you click on it it
does something, but extremely quickly and there are no
setup dialog boxes or anything and the file is not added
to the Windows directory as I believe it should be!

Any thoughts?

Neill
