SDI For PowerPoint

Is there anyway to use PowerPoint in a single document
interface (SDI) like that avaialble in Word. I love it
in word as it allows me to have my master document on one
monitor and my reference material on another. Word used
to have an multiple document interface (MDI), but they
went away from it in Word 2000 because users found it
cumbersome. How about for PowerPoint?
