Is there a third party "search" routine that can be used instead of the
Search Form that is included with FP2003? If so, please point me in the

Google has a search facility that you can incorporate into a site.

If you want something you can add to the site yourself the FrontLook add-in
for FrontPage is excellent.

Another possibility is 'The Website Utility' which can create a simple
JavaScript based search as well as a more complex asp based search.

Besides Ian's excellent suggestions, if the server is Windows and you can
use the indexing service, you can do some asp coding to build your own
search function. I implemented this on one of my websites based on coding I
found at ASP101
