Search Field

Hi,

Can someone please explain how to add a search option.

I have a mainswitchboard form, on which I want to add a
button to search for a record by entering a Contacts name.

It would only need to search the field 'Contact name'

Any help is appreciated.

The way I've gotten this to work in the past is to have an
unbound text box, where the person would enter a name with
an * (i.e. Smith*) and set a Macro on the After Update to
open up the Contacts form where [Contact name]like [forms]!
[main switchboard]![contact name].
