Searching in word documents

I have numerous word documents in fact they are CV's in Word, I would like to
have a search program to enable me to search for either words or phrases that
would search all the documents and bring up a shortlist

Hi,
You could just use the inbuilt search in the operating system(XP's search
is good). The search feature allows you to search a particulay type of
document which contains specific terms or phrases.
You can also specify the folder to search in.
