Select and Change All Text

Is there a way to select all of the text boxes in a PowerPoint presenation in
order to then change all of the fonts to a single font rather than going
through one slide at a time?

Andrew,
I know of two solutions. One involves VBA, the other doesn't.
The non-VBA solution is to use "Replace Fonts" (on the format menu) to do
your replace. You select the font you want changed in the top box and then
the new font in the bottom box. Click OK and all instances of that font will
be changed. You can then repeat this process for each font you want to get
rid of.

On the other hand, you can completely automate this with a simple VBA
routine. How comfortable do you feel using VBA? This entry of Steve
Rindsberg's PPT FAQ shows you how to change the font color:
Change the font color of text
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00465.htm
or its more advanced brother:
Do something to -- every shape on a slide, every slide in a presentation,
every presentation in a folder
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00594.htm

You can adapt the code to change the font instead of the color if you play
around some.

(ME? I would use replace fonts, even if it is going to take several steps to
get there.)

Thanks Kathy. I went with the Replace fonts command but I'll hang onto the
VBA code too.
