select multiple text boxes to delete

Is it possible to select multiple text boxes as I need to delete quite a few
ina few documents converted from a PDF file

Hold the control key while you select.
If you have many such documents, you might consider replacing your
conversion software with something that doesn't format using text boxes.

Also, make sure they're text boxes. If they're frames, you can remove them
with Ctrl+A, Ctrl+Q (though the text may then be in higgledy-piggledy
order).
