Selecting microphone in USB Port while using PP

How does one select a prefered microphone while using PP? I can not seem to
be able to find the option to change microphones (other applications have a
drop down selection to select the prefered mic). Thanks!

Hope all is safe and dry for you.

The default microphone is selected in Windows, not PowerPoint (which only
uses what Windows tells it to). If you needed to do this via code, you
could try to use an API call to find available microphones and select one,
but I doubt the code would be compatible between the various operating
systems out there.

If you are only trying to do this for your system (no code) than just go
into the sound settings in Windows and select the default Microphone there.
