I posted this here couple of weeks ago and never got a response. Will
try again, maybe some new ideas since then. I have a client running
Win2k, Office 2k Stnd, Exchange server 5.5. When in Word 2k and
trying to send a document via "File/Send To/Mail Recipient (as
attachment)" instead of bring up Outlook, it brings up the default
setup for creating a dial up account. But going to "File/Send to Mail
Recipient, it opens Outlook and waits for the address to send it to.
Only when trying to send the attachment does it bring up the "setup"
screen. I have searched google with all kinds of search patterns,
been on MS knowledge base with no results. I have deleted the
"normal.dot", did a "repair install" of Office 2K and nothing has
helped. Anyone have any ideas? I have a feeling even if I did a
"un-install" of Office 2K and re-installed that the problem would
probably still remain hidden some where and have the same problem
after the install.
