Send Word 2000 document to Outlook 2000

My default position in Outlook 2000 of Mail Message is MS Word 2000. When I
am in Word and want to send a document to Outlook as an attachment -
File/Send to/Mail recipient (as attachment) - when Outlook Mail Message
opens it is in HTML format and I am unable to format the Mail Message in the
same manner as when I am not sending a document. If I insert a document -
Insert/File - I have no problem because all of Word formatting is available
to me. What can I do to set the default position for "File/Send to/Mail
recipient (as attachment)" to my normal Word format?
