I don't understand why you would want to? Every email you send is saved in
your Sent Items. Why double the amount of emails you have?
But that doesn't PROVE that your mail host actually sent out your
e-mail, only that it ACCEPTED your e-mail with the implication that it
later sends it out. However, if you need verification that your e-mails
are going out from your mail server, you need to have the Bcc'ed copy go
to an account with a different e-mail provider. E-mails from yourself
that are sent to yourself are routed internally and don't prove the
e-mail ever actually got "sent" out from your mail host.
I've seen where several lawyers or real estate agents want verification
that their e-mail got sent, not just that their mail server accepted
their e-mail to later send it. When large money assets or critical
issues are involved, a copy in the Sent Items folder proves nothing
about the e-mail actually getting sent out by the mail host.
