sending pictures

Brad Covell

i have a jpg in My Pictures, I right click on it, and send to mail
recipient. Outlook opens with a message that has the picture as an
attachment, i put in a valid email address and click send. But nothing
happens. can someone help me troubleshoot this?

It works when I open a new message and manually select the file I want to
attach but I need to do it the other way to make the pictures smaller.

Thanks
Brad

Nothing happens means...? Does pressing send nothing or does the message
goes to the Outbox and just sits there or...?

Pressing send does nothing. The message doesn't go to the outbox. I can
press send numerous times without the window closing, without the mail being
put in the outbox, nothing happens. Thanks for any additional help.

Is Outlook your default mail program? You can verify this in Control Panel->
Internet Options-> tab Programs

Also; have you tried a repair of Office already? Insert your CD, start the
setup and choose Repair.
