When the messages in my Outbox folder have been sent, they
are not found in the Sent Items folder. Why not
Because you have not enabled that option.
Enable the option in the "Tools>Options..." dialog box. You'll find it on
the "Preferences" tab. Click "E-mail Options" and check the "Save copies of
messages in the Sent Items folder" box.
