Sent Mail not Delivered

Using Outlook 2002 on a windows XP Pro, HP laptop, model
ZE4540. I have applied both SP1 & SP2 as well as the
Outlook 2002 Post Service Pack 2 Hotfix. Email can be
received fine. When an email is sent it leaves the outbox
and appears in Sent Items, but is never delivered to the
adressee. Outlook has been removed and reinstalled as
well. Any ideas would be helpful.
