Separate folders per account possible?

This keeps me busy for a while: is it possible to have
separate inbox and sent items folders for each account
that you manage with one outlook? It would be a great
feature and I can't imagine it's not possible.

Thanks for a reaction.

You can create separate folders and then direct the mails from specific
accounts to it by using Wizard Rules. You can find Wizard Rules under Tools.

Define rules for incoming e-mails based on which e-mail account they arrive.
Define rules for outgoing messages based on which account you used to send
them (using the Accounts toolbar button).

I suppose you could also define multiple mail profiles (Mail applet in
Control Panel) and then select which one to use when you start Outlook.

I can not find a Rule in Outlook 2000 that permits this

You have to add the email address of each recipient to the address book -
then you can create a rule based on messages sent to people.

It's available only in Outlook 2000 Internet Mail Only mode, IIRC.
