Server doen't support SSL

Just installed OL 2003. I use Comcast. I get an error
message saying OL can't connect to the outgoing server
because Comcast server does not support SSL. Is there a
way to turn off SSL? Or some other way around this
problem?

Under the account settings on your server tab, uncheck the option to use
SSL.
