Server extensions not seeing the security settings from FP

we have two virtual sites in frontpage and recently we
had to restore a complete site. The extensions on 2000
as 2002 does not install correctly to this server. ONe
of the two virtual server shows the server security and
the other gives the error "an error occured acessing your
frontpage web files...". This is from the tools drop
down in frontpage to make sure the security settings are
correct on the server.
