Server Query

We migrated to another exchange server after merging with
another company. We took the old server off-line and some
users are still trying to query that server and it locks
there system up. I have removed the profiles; rebooted
and then recreated the profile and email account and still
get the same issue. Has anyone else seen this or know how
to fix it. There is no pointer in a host file either.
