Server Settings in 2007

We are deploying Project Server 2007and would like more detail around
some of the options with our configuration. Technet has good details
around Category and Group settings, but I've not found much on Time
and Task Management, Look and Feel or Operational Policies from the
server settings page. Are there good sources out there for this
info? How much detail is gone into in the "Implementing and
Administering Microsoft Office Project Server 2007" book that is now
available?

Thanks

Hi B.

I would recommend checking out some of the entries from different Project
Server blogs. You can see a consolodated list of some blogs at
www.projectserverblogs.com, which is administered by Duncan Lamb.

I'd also recommend the "Implementing and Administering Microsoft Office
Project Server 2007" book by Gary L Chefetz and Dale Howard, which has good,
solid information as reference.

The Planning and Architecture guide
(http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=79598) is also helpful in thinking
through how you want to use the product. Have you gone through those
materials?

We've actually had MCS on-site during our implementation so we have
worked through all of the planning steps. During our testing, I'm
questioning some of our settings and was looking for a good reference
on what checking a certain box actually impacts. I have ordered the
book referenced above.
