server timed out

I can publish all my files in frontpage but when I publish my database I
continually get server timed out error message. Any suggestions?

Use FTP to upload / download your database.

FYI: If you are using the database to allow site visitors to add data, then if you download/upload
your database you will overwrite data unless you can stop your site / server during the time you are
working on the database.

Thank you, I will try FTP.

Also thank you for the extra tip. Fortunately the only entries in the DB at
this time is made by one other person in my office but, in the future certain
other end-users will be able to make changes also.

Also make sure the database only contains the tables that will actually be used on the web, as well
as no queries, forms, or embedded images/files, etc. This help keep your database as small as
possible.

Thank you. This particular DB has many queries in it as well as too many
tables but nothing else.
Again Thank you!
