Service Pack 3 Reports

M

Mike Fox

Just installed service pack 3 to MS Office XP Pro, and I get the
following popup message when I launch Outlook: "A program is trying
to access email addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to
grant access? Yes? No? I've been clicking - No.

I'm running the latest updated versions of Zone Alarm Pro and Norton's
Antivirus and run 100% virus checks so I think my machine is clean.

Does anyone know what's going on and what to do about it?

Thanks

Mike

Whatever program that is doing it was doing it before.

You just never knew back then because prior to SP3 the alert wasn't
implemented :)

If you have upto date AV then I wouldn't worry about it - could be something
as simple BCM , or maybe an instant messenging program

I'm having the same problem. This was implemented before, and always popped
up if I was synchronising with my sadly departed Psion 5mx

It's really annoying me now, as I get the dialogue every time I receive an
incoming e-mail since installing SP3. Anyone know how to disable it?
