setting a constraint date

how do I show enable a task to be contrained date option of the third monday
of a month. for example I would have a task that would start on 9/5 given
it's predecesor but for this specific task it most occur on the third monday
of the month which is 9/18/06. Is there a way to set up a constraint date
for this.

Hi KTT,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

You'll need to create a new calendar (call it third monday) in which all
days are non-working except for the 3rd monday of each relevant month. Then
create a task and link it between the last successor and the task which must
start on those mondays. Give the task a Duration of 1 minute and assign the
new third mon calendar to that task. That should do it.
